VCL-2711, IEEE C37.94 over IP / MPLS / Ethernet Transmission Equipment is a ruggedized, robust and sub-station-hardened transmission equipment which converts and transmits up to two IEEE C37.94 Interfaces over an Ethernet / IP / MPLS-TP or MPML-IP link with “SDH / SONET like” performance. VCL-PDC (Phasor Data Concentrator) is a high-performance platform for managing Synchrophasor data and processing streaming data in real-time. The VCL-PDC receives and time-synchronizes phasor data from multiple Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) to produce real-time, time-stamped output data stream. A PDC can simultaneously store and send PMU data to multiple locations. By using multiple PDCs, customer can create multiple layers of concentration, within a Synchrophasor data system.

The VCL-2724, Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) Switch allows the transmission of duplicated data over two parallel links, simultaneously, with zero packet loss. The VCL-2724 engine performs the functions of data duplication and de-duplication to ensure that no duplicated packets are transmitted on the protected link while also ensuring that no data packet is ever lost due to a fault condition on either of the parallel transmission links.
